When I prepared for one of the most difficult exchanges in my life, "Shark Tank", I binged watched 8 hours of the show and wrote down every question each Shark asked.

I began to notice a pattern between the Sharks and the questions they asked each company. That's when I learned their preferences, tell signs, and knew who I actually had a chance of getting a deal from.

From there I put a checkmark by questions they consistently asked.

Then I took the top 50, wrote them on note cards, and memorized 3 talking points for all 50 questions.

This process enabled me to become excellent at pitching and always camera ready. I got so good that Robert Herjavec offered $400,000. At the time, I was worth so much more, so I declined. Even though I was scared it was the wrong decision, I knew deep down that I was worth more.
